Our Patient Portal allows you to communicate with Capstone easily, safely, and securely over the internet. This service is provided at no additional cost to Capstone patients and is an optional service. The Portal will allow you to request appointments, medication refills, lab results, review your statements, update your demographics or health history, assess your preventative care schedule, or email your doctor at a convenient time without waiting on the phone or for the office to open.
WHY USE THE PATIENT PORTAL?
LAB ACCESS
Lab results will be available to Capstone patients for any labs performed in our laboratory. You may print these out to share with your other doctors, if we have not already sent them a copy. Lab results are not available for viewing until all tests ordered have been completed, and your doctor has reviewed them. Some tests sent to an outside laboratory will not show up on the portal, since we do not receive the results in an electronic format. You will see an email notifying you of any new lab work. This email is usually sent at around 2 am the day after the lab work is uploaded. Feel free to check the portal before if you are eager to see if the lab results are in.
APPOINTMENTS
Appointment reminders are emailed 5 days and 2 days before the appointment. Due to email security, reminders will not have the actual appointment information. You can see the details on the appointment by logging into the patient portal with your username and password. These reminders are automatic, and you do not need to sign up for them. Messages are returned throughout the day. You will receive an email when a reply message is waiting for you, and you will receive emails reminding you of your appointments.
